The idea for Disco Boogie comes from the mind of Gina Garan. She was originally intended to come with roller skates, but they were unable to have them produced. Disco Boogie is the first Blythe to have two-toned hair, though it was known to be quite frizzy out of the box.


Her box has lilac, green, blue, pink, and yellow stripes creating groovy waves and flourishes. It features the Blythe logo in holographic silver against a blue clover. The display window is oval-shaped.


She has long, wavy ash-blonde hair with silver highlights, parted down the center with no fringe, that goes down to her waist. Her eye-shadow is a powder blue, and her lips are a light nude pink.
