Asian Butterfly combines Chinese and Japanese traditional fashion and gives it a modern twist. She is the first doll with a fantasy hair color, inspired by Junko Wong's experience in college dyeing her hair the same color.


Her box is black with colorful concentric polka dots. It features the Blythe logo in indigo against a pink clover. The window is oval-shaped.


She has straight indigo hair, parted down the center with fringe, that goes down to her waist. Her eye-shadow is red-violet, and her lips are a pale pink.
